Old Fashioned Customer Service

Good Morning Ryan,
 
My name is Stephen Humphrey, and I have been a customer of Blacks ever since you hired Chris Gaskins. I am old-fashioned in the fact that I like to look people in the eye and shake there hand before I trust them and spend my money. I do not have to look Blacks tire in the eye any longer, I know they will take care of me and my family. Just after thanksgiving my daughter was in Wilmington and her car blew a head gasket, after talking with Chris I knew it would not be a good idea to try to drive it back to New Bern, so Chris called around wilmington to see which store was still open and directed us to that store. When my daughter pulled in they were expecting her and took care of her. The next working day a young man named Jason called me to let me know for sure what was wrong, when it would be ready and how much it would cost. It ready on time and the charge did not change, and the work was done very well.

Superior Customer Service

I just wanted to write you to inform you of the superior customer service I received at one of your shops today.

I was in Wilmington this afternoon and I needed a set of four new tires and an alignment. I also had over 50,000 miles on my current set, so I was definitely due.

I walked into your store on Market Street, and spoke with a sales representative to obtain a quote. I didn't catch his name, but I believe it started with a "J" (Justin maybe?)...blonde hair....extremely nice. He walked outside and checked my tires for the size, and noted that there had been a cut in my tire that I was not aware of (I had hit a pothole yesterday and the hubcap sliced into the tire without perforating the tire wall). I had my car served and bought two tires. The serviced man worked had to get me within three dollars of another Quoited price I had. Need more service men like Evertt Pressley. I will return next month to get two more tires. The customer service was great.

I was in the Monroe NC store yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation, and let me tell you, I couldn’t have been more pleased. I wish I could remember the names of all they guys I talked to, everyone was so courteous and professional I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of, which is very important for a single woman. They are all so helpful, and want to make sure that your vehicle is taken care of. The new waiting area in the store is fabulous, and whoever makes the coffee gets a big thumbs up!!!

I had the BEST experience EVER, from James, to Jerry to Bill.  They have treated me with respect and they have the highest integrity! After being told false information at *********, the team at this location went above and beyond to help diagnosis the problem, just to be told there were no issues.  ********* said it would be $500, Black’s charged me ZERO.  I thought I was going to have to use money that I was donating to Uganda to pay for my car repairs, instead due to the generosity of these men, I can now donate to the orphanage in Uganda, and will donate under Jerry’s name and his team.  I will be telling everyone of the outstanding, genuine, quality performace you will receive at this location, Millbrook and Atlantic.  I thank them from the bottom of my heart, and will continue using them for all my car needs!

On vacation from Jacksonville nc to myrtle beach.. brought my old truck.. as soon as I got to myrtle beach seen I had an issue with the truck.. The GREAT people at the North Myrtle Beach Blacks Tire made me feel like family, they took my truck in the first thing the next morning and did not stop until they made my truck right and were more than professional and kind.. they knew I was on vacation and made it their mission to take care of me so my vacation was not ruined… These people are FANTASTIC  and I thought you should know just what a good group of people you have representing you in North Myrtle Beach

Wow.

I don’t even know how I can thank you for the incredible customer service you provided me today.

I have taken my car to numerous (and I mean numerous) auto repair shops up and down the east coast since my car would break down here, there and everywhere, and no service shop that I’ve been to even compares with your team.

Even though it turns out that my car is dying and it would be cheaper to purchase a “new” used car versus getting my current car repaired, at least I got an honest answer and wasn’t what I like to call “swindled” like I usually am at other auto shops – not to stereotype myself, but it seems like a young blond woman like myself can be easily ripped off at auto repair shops since it’s obviously I don’t know jack about cars.
