I write to offer sincere thanks for helping a family member last Saturday.

My step-son, Kevin, and youngest grandson were traveling thru Florence from Florida to Maryland for the Holidays when he discovered the run flat on his BMW would not “run flat”. When he contacted the BMW support group they told him they would have a tire for him the following Tuesday. At this point he called me and I looked on the internet to find a tire store. My first call was to Sam’s Club but they would have to special order the tire. They recommended another local shop with the same result however they said to call Blacks Tire and gave me the number of one of your stores. I called and the gentleman who answered said they did not have that size but he showed that the shop by the airport did and he gave me that number.

Florence, SC (store 24)


We wish to commend your company for the excellent customer service we received recently.

We were visiting family in Florence and were scheduled to start home early Wednesday morning, April 8th. Unfortunately, we discovered a problem with our car on Tuesday evening – too late to have anything done about it then.

At the recommendation of my sister-in-law, we went to your shop between 7:30 and 8:00 Wednesday morning, and you had our car ready for the road by 10:30! We were really impressed. Thank You.

Lumberton, NC (store 4)

On Sept. 29, we had occasion to stop in your lovely town of Lumberton. We were traveling from Washington, D.C., to West Palm Beach, Fla., with show horses when we experienced a flat tire on the horse trailer.

We pulled off the highway at the first available exit and stopped in the largest parking lot available to us, at a restaurant. First we went to the food mart adjacent to the restaurant to check the phone book for some help. The food mart people were friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions as to whom to call.

The restaurant owner, on the other hand, was less than helpful. He came out, screaming, flailing his arms, saying we must leave his area and now! It was not as if his parking lot was going to be overrun with customers at 9:15 a.m.

We obliged him, reloaded all our tire equipment and limped to Wal-Mart. The Service Department there was extremely helpful, even though they did not have the correct tire. They directed us to Black’s ...

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for working on my truck the other week. It really meant a lot to me to see you again and to know that you remembered me. I’ve really appreciated all of the people that have helped me at Blacks.  I’ve always felt that you all do a great job. North Myrtle Beach, SC (Store 7)

On vacation from Jacksonville nc to myrtle beach.. brought my old truck.. as soon as I got to myrtle beach seen I had an issue with the truck.. The GREAT people at the North Myrtle Beach Blacks Tire made me feel like family, they took my truck in the first thing the next morning and did not stop until they made my truck right and were more than professional and kind.. they knew I was on vacation and made it their mission to take care of me so my vacation was not ruined… These people are FANTASTIC  and I thought you should know just what a good group of people you have representing you in North Myrtle Beach
