Cheers to Black’s Tire on Ramsey Street near Methodist University. I had them fix a flat tire, and later the same day, it went flat again. They came and picked me up, fixed the tire, brought me back to my car, and put it on for me at no charge! Quality people – quality service! Thanks!

On Sunday afternoon, I was part of a group driving a rented Motorhome from Durham back to our homes in Virginia & Washington, DC. Shortly after leaving Durham, one of the back tires blew out, causing some structural damage to the vehicle. One of your employees, Jerry Culbreth, was called in to assist our group. What should have been a very stressful situation was made so much easier because of Jerry’s professionalism, his customer service, and his genuine concern for our well being. Our group had to find a hotel for the night, and Jerry escorted us to the nearest city (Henderson, NC) where he was certain we’d be able to find rooms for the night and have plenty of options for food. He also made sure that the two expecting parents in our group rode with him, in his service vehicle, just as an extra precaution. The fact that he called us the next day to check up on us and made sure we were able to get home was a nice touch. Jerry definitely went above and beyond his job ...[more]

Cheers to Dwayne, Mike and the technicians at Black’s Tire on Owen Drive. I had taken our Windstar van to two other shops in town for an alignment. With it still pulling hard to the right, I was directed to Black’s Tire.
The staff there assessed the problems quickly, communicated with us the needed repairs, made those repairs and adjustments, and delivered the vehicle to my wife. What more could you ask for?
Nothing tops having peace of mind when my wife and kids are on the road. I have that now.
Finally, a shop I can trust and highly recommend!

On the 20th of October 2010, I took my Toyota Tundra to your store on Carolina Beach rd. in Wilmington for tire service.
I was greeted as I came through the entrance with a “Hi there, how are you? How can we be of service?”. I immediately felt like I was important as a customer and not some no name work order. As I waited for the serviceing of my truck, I noticed how clean and orderly the waiting area was and even the men’s room was clean. I was really impressed with how I was kept informed of the progress on my truck by the mechanic and the manager named Carl.
I liked the way Carl talked with the customers, calling them by their first names and makeing them feel as though they are part of the process not someone to just get money from.
In summary the store does a great service to your company by professionalism, great work ethics, and by treating the customers right. I will return and recommend this store to anyone with auto needs. Thanks again. ...[more]

I recently had to face what I thought was going to be a hard task to accomplish and expensive. After having a blowout on the road and arriving home I went to your store on Gillespie Street in Fayetteville. There I met Mr. Boahn, an extremely busy person. I had many questions about tires and he helped me through every step. He made me feel totally at home, and I received from him every confidence in Black’s Tire. I got to see him in action and he dealt with every action at ease and with full confidence. He knows his business, as seen from an outsider.
On my next camping trip I was telling everyone about Danny at Black’s Tire. The second person I talked to he mentioned Danny’s name before I got to it, and said what a great person he is. Danny has a great reputation. I will without hesitation recommend and return to Black’s Tire, due to your Mr. Boahn.
You obviously have a great employee who takes care of business and the customer.

I am a soldier stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. I went to your store in Fayettville (BTS 28) and received outstanding service and an amazing deal. Ryan Nobles, was my point of contact. Many times in military towns everyone hates soldiers because, quite frankly, they tear up places and get into trouble a lot. Ryan really did express his appreciation and went above and beyond the call. I will spread the word about your store every time someone I know needs auto work. Thank you so much.
