BTS Charity Golf Tournament

WHITEVILLE, NC – RBR Enterprises along with BB&T, Carquest and Black’s Tire hosted the 7th Annual BTS Myrtle Beach Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, June 22nd . The Charity Golf Tournament raised a record over $40,000 for the Boys & Girls Home Charity.

The Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina, is a non-profit, non-sectarian home for children located at Lake Waccamaw, NC, approximately 38 miles west of Wilmington, NC and 50 miles north of Myrtle Beach, SC. They provide out-of-home child care for at-risk children in residential care, family foster care and emergency care placement. The program of care includes educational, social, and spiritual development.

golf photoOn Saturday, June 23rd, Black’s Tire and RBR Enterprises also held their 12th Annual Customer Appreciation Hospitality Village at Myrtle Beach Speedway. This event was open to guests before the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Event.

“This was definitely the biggest promotion we have done so far,” said Rick Benton. “This year we marketed with some strong partners and it definitely was the largest promotion of the year surrounding a USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup Event. Our marketing partners and sponsors for the hospitality village event included: BB&T, Carquest, Interstate Battery, Harold Wells Insurance, BFGoodrich, Shell, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Federal Tire, Safety Kleen, Dean Tires, Truckwise, Dilmar Oil, East Coast Race Tires, Honeycutt Produce, USAR, WPDE News Channel 15, Surf 94.9, Unifirst Corporation, Napa, Gore Tire, Next Media, Qantum Communications and Gator 107.9. This was a great promotion together with our customers, vendors, and business associates. This year we catered to right at 3,000 guests.” The hospitality event featured a cookout, live band, giveaways to the first 500 guest, 3 live radio remotes, and a lot of family fun for all those who attended.
