I've been going to Blacks Tire in NMB now for over 10 years, ever since I moved here from NC. The quality of service and the expertise of it's staff is second to none. Mark, Sandy, Michael and crew are by far the best. I know them by name because they have become family to me and my family. They know my cars as well as my families needs in transportation which is so important these days. I can now just take my cars as well as my sons college car up to Blacks in NMB and say handle it. They know I want the most reliable car for my sons and will do everything possible to keep my children safe. Again these people have become family to me. Yes they have good pricing . Yes they warrant their work. They, like everyone told me, working on a Volkswagon was not good. At least they worked on it and probably lost money. Two Days! Runs great. To me that means nothing without these people. They have become my very good friends. Thank you guys for caring so much for your customers like me!! Sandy, !I'll bring the donuts next year.

Very fast and friendly service! I am a student from Charlotte so I needed to find a trusted mechanic while I'm in Wilmington. I have been to Black's twice and haven't been disappointed!

Traveling on I-95 N and had a flat. Called Roadside Assitance. Within 10 min a guy named Ryan stopped from Black'sTire. He helped my husband get the spare tire out and changed the tire. We commented that we've never had roadside assistance respond so quickly! He replied that he wasn't from Roadside Assistance, but stopped bc he saw that we needed help! He also told us a place nearby to get our tire fixed or replaced.
Ryan was a God send. Very courteous and didn't accept payment for his services, although he performed the same services that Roadside Assistance would have done.
We are grateful for his kindness and for sending us to a good place to get a new tire!

I moved from North Carolina to North Myrtle Beach back in 1991 as a single woman, with little more than my clothes and my cat. My lifelong dream was to live here, and my family and friends thought I had lost my mind to move 200 miles away and take such a chance.

For quite a few years I worked in hotels making minimum wage and holding down part-time jobs just to survive. As they say in the movies, I depended on the "kindness of strangers" for a long time. In a resort area full of transients and vacationers, it's easy to get ripped off, especially when it comes to single women and car problems.

Almost immediately I had a guardian angel that sent me to Black's Tire in North Myrtle Beach. Back then the manager's name was Kenny Bullard. This sweet, sweet man set the standard for his store, hiring the most honest, friendly, and experienced team of automotive experts in the state, I think. They came to know me and my precarious financial situation, and saved my hide for years finding the least expensive way to keep my car on the road. Never have I had to question their suggestions, workmanship, or honesty. If I needed advice or car service, I depended on Kenny and Sandy to take care of me.

Kenny passed away far too young and broke a lot of hearts when he did. But Mark Heflin filled his shoes like a brother, and have continued the wonderful service and and hard work that Kenny set as the standard for the North Myrtle Beach store. If you need tires or your car serviced while at the beach, you won't find a better place to take it than Black's Tire. They have my eternal gratitude. ~Jan Chilton

Be it Brett, Scott, Adam or any other fine employee, Jimmy runs a top notch business that always gets the job done quickly and economically; but most of all, they get it right the first time. I recommend Black's Tire & Auto on Castle Hayne Road to all my co-workers and friends.
