This review will explain why this BTS Service Center is now the ONLY place we will take our car to for service from now on. We recently relocated to the Myrtle Beach area and our 2014 Subaru Forester’s A/C system had not been working properly for the last 2 years. It would blow cool air for a while, but then would only blow warm air. I knew it had a slow refrigerant leak but now thought it was time to find and fix the leak and also replace the A/C compressor. I was prepared for a rather expensive repair bill. I called this BTS service center to schedule a time to drop off our car for such repairs. To make a long story short, everyone on the entire team there I spoke with during this repair process (Amanda, Todd, Kellie, and Daniel) was absolutely awesome to say the least. Honestly, their primary focus was to keep the expense of this repair as low as possible for me and explained the analysis steps they would take to do so in great detail. During the repair service, they found the leaks in the system and also that the root cause of the A/C cycling issue was actually a bad A/C regulation sensor. They checked the A/C compressor and confirmed that it was in great shape and did not need to be replaced! They called me several times during this process to update me on their findings and when the repair would be completed. Bottom line, not only did they repair the A/C system, which is now working perfectly, the total cost was about 1/4th of what I thought it would be and was prepared to pay. This was directly the result of them confirming that I did not need to replace the A’C compressor, even though I told them several times that I thought perhaps it might be time to do so. I chose this particular BTS location for this A/C repair because they had helped me last year with a very minor issue that they fixed while it was still sitting in their parking lot. Our car had begun making clanking noises when turning. It sounded like it could be a possible and potentially dangerous issue somewhere in the front suspension. It was only a piece of metal rod that had gotten picked up on the road while driving and jammed harmlessly under the chassis, but occasionally dragging the ground when turning. They removed it in the parking lot for me, but still insisted to put it on a lift to make sure that there was no other damage to the car. Even after that, they did not charge me anything at all!!! I decided that this would be auto service center from now on.

Took my 05 Silverado Chevy Truck, to Black's Tire and Auto to get looked at for AC problems associated with the blower fan not working well on passenger side. I had the opportunity to speak to the store manger, who was very polite and a knowledgeable young man. He was very amiable and listened to my problem. He promised to take a good look at it and get back with me as soon as he had diagnosed the problem and the repairs needed. I figured I would have my truck back the following day at the earliest. To my surprised he called me back within a couple of hours with repairs recommended as well as letting me know he had checked to my ac system. I also added an oil change while I had him on the phone. I dropped my truck their around 09:30 while I took care of some of my local errands. I received a call around 2: 30 with estimated time of 3:30 for completion of repairs. When I got there it was already parked and ready for me. I found my cost to be very reasonable and I was pleased when I checked and ran my AC to find it blasting out very cool air. I am very satisfied with both the quality of work and cost I would recommend this location and will return for my truck and auto needs.
