Windshield wipers: Even the best windshield wipers are only good for about a year before the sun’s UV rays and normal wear start to take their toll. If you notice chipping, drying-out and cracking or strips of rubber being shed from your wiper blades, it’s best to have them replaced before the rain starts coming down.

Belts and Hoses: Belts and hoses tend to last for a very long time…and that’s why they get neglected. Nothing will have you stuck by the side of the road quicker, however, than a failed hose or serpentine belt.
